? about HCA

Newbie here, simple question. Does HCA only apply to round stones? If so is there a similar calculation for ovals? I guess that is two questions. Thanks in advance

Yes, only for rounds. And no, there is not a similar tool to evaluate ovals. You absolutely have to see pictures of any stones other than certain rounds. Here is some oval cut info:

I'd really choose a vendor such as Good Old Gold to call in stones for you because they can evaluate light performance and weed out the bad ones.
