about a diamond....

Hallo everybody!
I''m from Italy and would like to know something about a diamond I''ve bought..
It is a ring with a Princess cut diamond, 0.62 carats. The color is L-M (very very light yellow but very nice) and the clarity is VSI-1.
The diamond has an EGL certificate (www.eglusa.com: 75218451D) with a value of 2170$.
I paid the ring 400 euros, do you think it''s a honest price?

Does the certificate say L-M for the color?

I wasn't able to find any princess cut diamonds of a comparable size in a color less than J, so I wasn't able to compare the price, but including the ring (platinum? gold?) it doesn't sound like an outrageous price if the stone looks nice. Of course, cut quality, etc. make a difference as well. Flourescence might help in this case.

The price looks about ball park for this stone. As PG said, there aren't many similar stones available at the moment... But for a VS 1 and M color it doesn't look outrangeous.
