I tried on many, many dresses this weekend and had a blast! I''m definitely leaning toward one of these dresses, but since PSers have such good taste, I''m interested in your opinions

I''m just going to put them in chronological order, feel free to chime in with any thoughts, including that you dislike all of them!

Detail from #1, since the full-length pic didn't show it very well:

Is that all of them? I don''t want to comment until I''ve seen them all.

Sheesh, some people are so impatient.

If that''s all of ''em, my favorite is definitely #4.

(#1 and #3 hide your fab. figure, and there''s just too much going on in #2.)

So far, #4

ETA: EXACTLY what EBree said!!!!

I Totally agree with Ebree!!! Number 4, Number 4, Number 4!!! I LOVE Number 4

Looks gorgeous on you, that is the one! hehe

Definitely number 4!

Ditto!! And here's why....

1) It's not doing anything for your amazing body. Read: "dull"

2) Much better. I love the heart shaped bodice on you.

Yet, I am worried about the tier that sits right on your hip that is extended out above the one below it. I can't tell because your hands are covering it, but it looks a little wonky. I like that dress though. It would be awesome if they removed that first tier at your hip.

3) I like it but it isn't hugging your waist like #2, which could be camera angle, but the dress is also pretty.

4) Hands down the best. It shows your curves the way it should when you have them!! It also has bling, a beautiful train and LACE!! I

it. I just wish it had the sweetheart cut across your chest...which would be an easy enough alteration if it mattered, but honestly, it looks amazing the way it is.

Good job!! I hope you had fun. Now which one is your favorite????

Aww, thanks everyone! Those are the only ones I liked well enough to post, although I probably tried on about 25-30 dresses between the two shops.

I loved the "fun-ness" of #2 but agree that it's too busy for an actual wedding dress...but if it was a different color, I'd totally wear it to a fancy event

ETA: the clips behind #1 and #3 didn't hold tight enough and kept slipping, but #2 was a corset and the #4 sample was actually my size (unusual because they're usually 2-4 sizes too big!) so that's partly why they look the way they do.

i love #2 on you, I like its gorgeous!! :-) who is it by?

Another vote for dress #4. Number one certainly has potential - its a bit too big for your frame but once taken in I''m sure it would be lovely.

#4! I love it on you...

I vote for #4, but I love the neckline on #2!

4 is by far the best, followed by 2, 3 and then 1. Even if it fit, the style of one is better for tall skinny girls, not ones with lovely curves like you or I.

I like them all but #4 is the sure winner

I really like #2 also.........

Octavia, honestly I dont love any of them and I think you can do much better with your terrific figure. Of those 4, I much prefer #1 - it''s classier looking to me, less stuff going on and it''s not wearing you, you''re wearing it. But I think you''d look terrific in a dress similar to neatfreak...have you tried something like that?

Well, I''m with most of you on #4, with #1 in second. The pictures don''t really do #1 justice, but it does look kind of bland in comparison.

I still have lots of time to try on more dresses, so I definitely don''t have to choose any of these. Surfgirl, I did try on a dress similar to neatfreak''s (if you''re referring the Casablanca with plunging v-neck and ruching -- I tried to do a search but I can never find just what I''m looking for) but I really hated the look of the simpler gowns on me. I just felt blah and not at all like a bride, and I couldn''t find anything with a similar silhouette but more visual interest. Maybe there would be something at a different salon.

Blondebunny, I don''t remember the name of the designer for #2, but it''s a "young, funky design team" based out of New York (saleslady''s words, not mine). I''ll try to see if I can find out for you. It was really a fantastic dress, but I know for sure that my FI would HATE it!

Thanks for the opinions, everyone! Keep ''em coming!

Oooooh! Dress #4 is breathtaking!!!

Have you tried on all lace gowns? Without the beadwork and shiny bits? Like UCLABelle''s dress? Something like that is so bridal and would look terrific on your figure I think.

I love #4, it''s pretty and it looks great on you!

I''m going to go against popular opinion and say I love #2 the best
1.gif
My jaws dropped when I got to that picture. #4 follows very closely. I loooove #2!!

I ABSOLUTELY love the shape of #4 on you, but I think it has a bit too much beading. If you could find a similar shape/fit, with some beading but not quite so much, I think it would be perfect!

I''m with surfgirl on this - think that your lovely figure deserves something more outstanding to show it off. I''m hoping I''m not hurting your feelings in case you''re set on one of these four...if you pushed me I''d say 4. As detailed as number 2 is, it''s definitely busy busy busy! Just my thoughts..

personally I say 2 and 4...the other two do NOTHING for your figure...you get lost in them. You have an AMAZING body girl... SHOW IT OFF!!!!!!!

A solid vote for #4 here
