A tip for those who loupe their diamonds...

Clean your stones/rings a few times in your ultrasonic before whipping out the loupe!

Anyway, I''ve cleaned my new e-ring in the ultrasonic (and for good measure- used an airspray can

) about 5-6 times since Wednesday and tonight decided to loupe it to see if I can find what''s on the AGSL cert. Yeah, those black specks are GONE. As in nada, no longer exist, gonners, bye bye! They must have been crud on the diamond when it was set.

So for all new diamond owners, before you get out your loupes, clean that sucker a few times and use an air spray can!

I will now hand over my loupe to Cut Nut Gary...

LOL! thanks Ang. I''m totally in love with this diamond and the setting

so to see that the black specks were gone was like icing on the cake! My ring drama is over on all accounts, I even finally decided on a plain wedding band!
