I just have a silly question about be-treated sapphires, are they all medium dark and vivid blue like those 99c ebay sapphires? Or there are actually be treated light blue sapphires? Such as icy blue color. Just want to know if the short of saturation in light blue sapphires can promise heat-only. Thanks

Diffusion of sapphires now come in all shades of blue, from light to dark, pale to vivid. I posted such examples in the Treatment of Corundum thead somewhere in CS.

............. and all shades of green and all shades of pink and all shades of purple and all shades of orange and all shades of yellow and and and and ..................

Basically for many years now, BE diffusion has been applied to turn sapphires all different colours. Do you remember a few years ago when rainbow sapphire jewellery was all the rage? Most of those were BE.

Got it!

Thanks LD and Chrono.
