A Shout Out For Single Stone

As some of you may know, i''m still in LA, having a stop over and visiting my dog, Dapple, on my way home from Australia to NY.

For lunch today, we decided to go to a lovely restaurant - julieanne''s - for lunch. we parked a little way away and were walking down the street...which is right where Single Stone is. So in we went.

It''s not my first visit to SS, but i was struck (and struck hard!) again just how gorgeous their things are. Given that i''m in South Pasadena so often and Single Stone is just 2 or 3 minutes away, i''ve decided to have something made by Ari, and the gems replaced in another ring i have.

Seeing their things, i''m REALLY looking forward to having these projects done, and having a piece of jewelry made by such a wonderful jeweler.

What a treat, Whitby! I keep looking for an excuse to get to LA just so I can go to SS. I hear that their pieces are even more wonderful in person than they are online. I''m smitten just by the photos!

I love their jewelry, but I''m disappointed that they don''t put prices on their website.

Just went to the website and I get what the excitment is about!I would rather shop estate jewelry shops then eat(I was an estate jewelry buy for a dept store many years ago)and actually have skipped eating lunch to pay for jewelry!)The jewelry on the site is really beautiful. One thing I noticed is the large amount of the jewelry that had J or K color graded diamonds from the early 20th century.

Ari did my sister''s ering. She loves it and said he was WONDERFUL to work with and gave her exactly what she wanted. I know you will have something VERY nice in the end.
