Having spent a lot of time on this forum recently, this little Schitts' Creek snippet that showed up in my Facebook Feed and really made me laugh. Wait for it at the 00:47 mark.

Can't get the video

I think that I must be an outlier, but we tried to watch the pilot on Netflix maybe six months ago because the show gets so much publicity, but we couldn't even get 15 minutes into the pilot before giving up.

This is one show that I don't "get". I have tried to watch it, but I guess it is not my type of humor (no offense @adlgel)....and since I'm being completely honest, I think a pear shaped Opal would be fabulous!

I LOLed at this out loud - I loved this show!

I hear you. It took me probably through the first half of the first season to really get hooked. But once I was, I was all in.

I LOVE David! I watched Schitt's Creek yesterday because I needed a little David pick-me-up!

I have a couple pear opals, so I'm a little bummed about that though.

Yes it gets really good but you have to suffer through the first six or so episodes!

Same! I almost turned it off halfway through ep 1. My friends kept telling me to stick with it. It took a whole season for me to get into it. But I eventually did.

I promise it gets better
I really struggled with it, like you the first episode didn't bode well with me
But after a bout of insomnia i haf another couple of goes at it
and my the 2nd series i really loved it
the characters just get nicer and nicer as it goes along and they become a loving family by the end
Also the mother Moria, i just love her accsesrizing- her necklases are like a whole extra character !

So if you have some down time, give it another go
....even if it takes a couple more bites before you get a taste for ut

Do we know which episode this is from because i can't see it either, but id happily sit through the entire episode on Netflex

Its actually on tv at the moment too, quite late on a friday night, but its still in the first series i think

It's Season 2 Episode 4 titled Estate Sale.

We enjoyed the series after we “got” it! It did take several episodes to really feel invested and we eventually loved the family and their character development.
Pear-shaped opal!!

My daughter used to be in her room laughing hysterically at some show. I finally asked what could possibly be so funny and it was Schitt's. I decided to watch a few and thought the kids were annoying, then somehow I fell in love with them.

Other daughter loves Curb Your Enthusiasm. Now that's a show that takes some getting used to! Annoying, obnoxious, and crazy, but some episodes had me in tears laughing so hard.

All I know is that I want Moira's wardrobe and vocabulary.
