Intersting - quite good light return - a bit like a princess - but better light return.

What would this look like once set? My guess is it would appear rather round....

I agree. They took the assets of a round and princess and married them. They should call it Proundcess!

Cool Garry. This was a K.P. Sanghvi group launch yes? Congrats to Serg and OctoNus for providing design tools, and you for being a strong source of advice in India.

That''s pretty neat looking. I would love to see it set as well!

And your face-up guess would be right Researcher.

HI:

At the risk of sounding pedantic, how did they arrive at the name?

cheers--Sharon

how's the spread on this cut? It looks like it can be bottom heavy.
and how would you set it? I assume it requires 6 prongs?

This actual stone is 9% smaller in spread than an ideal Tolkowsky with vthin girdle and about 10% better than most princess cuts.

Cupio = Cpid sounding? a cute name - sounds a bit latin and they have a reputation for that kinda thing - and it sounds better than German i imagine?

its gorgeous! i''m assuming all those points will need to be protected when set?

movie zombie

I really like that cut! Ditto on protecting the points.

I just don't "get" the stone..or its name for that matter. Yikes. Just my 2 cents...Actually, I would have to say I dislike it very much. Oh well, to each his own! And that name just sounds like some sort of condition, something you caught that you don't want...

Definietly not romantic, feminine or cute. gee, can you tell I'm not a fan! LOL...Sorry!

Hmmm.. looks interesting. I would like to see it set next to a round. Would be interesting to see the sparkle effect and comparison.. (can tell I am not a diamond person huh...

Interesting indeed.

It looks alot like the spider web that was in my rhoddy bush yesterday!

Are we going to be able to see actual diamond pic''s?

Thanks for sharing and have a super day!

Looks like a little too much green around the edges to me.

2 much dark around the edges and big blobby contrast spots.

John - do you have an image of this stone with the pavillion facet diagram shown from the top through the table diagram? I''d like to see how they (the two 3D patterns) relate to one another in geometric lines from the top.

LOL! Oh I bet it is! I''m afraid it will engulf me! lol

I like it... but I think I would really have to see it set. Maybe in a simple platinum halo with a pave shank it would be nice. Something to really highlight the shape and protect the corners.
