Long time lurker to PS and I finally have some of my own bling to post!
Background:
This summer I came across a post from another PS'er who had the most gorgeous 5 stone ring made by Caysie van Bebber of CVB Inspired Design (I can't find the original post)...and I knew I wanted her to create a piece for me. I reached out to her on etsy and told her I was interested in a similar style of ring and had a few questions. Within minutes she got back to me and our "adventure" begun.
I initially contacted her about the five-stone ring but ended up getting a second ring (a replica of Kate Beckinsale's wedding band) during the process. Caysie found an old broach that housed my 5 chubby cushions (G-H, SI1, small tables, high crowns, etc). She told me they were beautifully matched and would make a great ring for my size 4.75 finger....and boy was she right. The stones weigh about 1.6 carats total and have so much character, I'm so in love with these old stones!
I know there has been some "drama" on this site regarding Caysie, but I had nothing but an AMAZING experience working with her and I CAN'T wait to have her to create some additional pieces for me in the near future!! I would honestly recommend her to ANYONE...she is truly a gem to work with (she works 24/7 and is sooooo patient and helpful during the process), her prices were very reasonable, and most importantly her work is ABSOLUTELY AMAZEBALLS!! For full disclosure the rings took longer than expected (she had a family emergency) but the wait was worth every second the second I laid eyes on these beauties!!
Unfortunately I do not have any of my own pictures at this time. I live in Minnesota and have not been able to get any good shots that give these rings the justice they deserve...but I can't wait any longer to share (hopefully I can get some hand shots soon). All pictures are from Caysie but even with her photography skills these photos do not do them justice (she told me this after finishing them but I didn't believe her, but when I opened the box and examined the rings I shrieked like a little girl). Can you tell I absolutely love them?!?! The craftsmanship on these rings is unbelievable...the milgrain is perfection and so delicate, the French and single cut stones in the band are divine, and the gallery of the 5-stone is so unique. Without further ado, I give you.....
