A lovely "Tide Me Over" ring..

until I get my cushion sapphire set by Leon. I got this little ring off of Ebay for dirt cheap. I know the stone is synthetic and has some abrasions, but I was hoping to take one of my gemstones and have it set into it. Waaah! None of my gemstones fit!

This stone isn''t so bad in real life. It takes on color of a london blue topaz outdoors and a sapphire indoors. I can''t believe how beautiful and substantial this setting is. I believe it to be a true vintage setting and not a reproduction. The scroll design under in the basket area was a nice added surprise. The Ebay sellers pictures did not show that! The diamonds are quite clean and sparkly too! So now I need to find an in expensive 9x8mm stone.......

The setting is beautiful. Too bad that none of yours will fit into it, but it does look pretty as it is.

I think you enjoy giving yourself excuses to buy gems..heheh!!!

Really though, the setting is lovely and I am sure you will be able to find an inexpensive stone to fit, or at least have one cut to fit.

LOL!.... I wish my wallet enjoyed my excuses to buy gems. I would like to get a pretty pinky-purply tourmaline. Unfortunately, all the ones that I am in love with..............are 3 times more expensive than the setting!!!!

WAAAH! Ahh... maybe I should settle for a nice purpley portugese cut amethyst!!
