Thank you everyone for you continued thoughts I really appreciate them all . I went and saw him last night (and will be going in later this morning/afternoon) he does look pale but he has colour back in his cheeks and his blood clotting lvls are stabilising (thankfully) but his sugar is still all over the place. I am really pleased though he had an appointment with a dietitian because I asked for one so he can finally learn what foods he can and can’t eat his normal GP is a git who just prescribes meds and doesn’t look at holistic ways of treating patients has never referred him before and my Dad being a typical old European male wouldn’t listen to his smart daughter and go see one. So if nothing else comes of this at least his diet should improve and hopefully he won’t have to take sugar meds in the future .
He still has to see a physio for his lungs and get the blood lvls under control before they let him go but all in all he seems on the way up so hopefully sometime next week from what I understand he is out of danger though even though he is still sick – the nurses there seem really lovely and have been taking good care of him. He is also getting diabetic cakes and cookies which he usually doesn’t get at home so he feels really chipper about that.
Thank you all again for your continued support it really does mean so much to be *MASSIVE HUGS* for you all
