It's hard to tell without seeing the stones up close. They also don't have the diameters of the stones listed. I've seen 0.60-0.80ct OECs going for $650-1000 on eBay. I haven't seen too many 1.25ct OECs lately, but when I do, the sellers are usually asking $2000+. I've seen auctions end for at least over $1500. If you want to make an offer, I'd consider $3500. At that price, it wouldn't be a steal of a deal (to me) but it would be a pretty good price. The good thing is that the seller has a return policy, but you might want to message them just to double check. The most I'd be willing to pay would be $4500. I hope Dreamer sees this thread and chimes in.

agreed, i thought the 4500 was ok, but she had some clause in there about only selling in the area. I wonder what dreamer will say!

Someone bought it for $4,350 which is most likely a good deal IF the diamonds are good quality.

That was fast! I wonder if someone from out of town contacted them about putting it on Ebay. It makes sense...it is safer and there's protection for everyone involved. Ah well, I wish there were better pics- for curiosity's sake.

I have 2 others I'm watching if anyone is interested. One is a .5 the other is another 3 stone with a .8 center. Part of me is just getting too hooked on this ebay searching, the other part of me knows i'm not knowledgeable to be a savvy ebay bargain hunter.

my loss your gain - the .5 is VERY well priced though, but it has a chip so i'm not sure how i feel about that

The first one's centerstone looks like those early MRB from the 50's-60's that my mom and grandma have in their E-Rings. Its not.. pretty.

I found it on ebay when she posted and started talking to her about it, then someone pointed out this thread to me! So I didn't know it was on craigslist at all.

Stones are 6.9mm and sides ae 5.8mm, and they are superbly cut. I plan to keep it as a three stone, but only got it today so I am still evaluating it. They are dirty, but seem very clean, VS probably, and the center is squeeky clean I sort of wonder if its fake The color is, I think, more tinted than the listed said. Its hard to tell with these old cuts, and the yellow mount adds a couple color grades in my estimates and experience. So I am going to have it appraised so that I can have a good opinion of the specs and perhaps talk to the seller about it if they are more tinted than the listing says.

I actually had talked to her about listing it on Ebay but after she did I just couldn't jump because the photos were not good enough for me to make a good call

Beautiful! 6.9mm! impressive. One of the side stones seems to have a grayish cloud on it, is that dirt, or an inclusion? Or maybe a trick of photography? (or I'm seeing something wrong...)

Its all dirt on the pavilion, I haven't cleaned them yet

BI you have to see past the photos to the glory underneath. She sent me a few more that were good enough *for me* to see the potential. The stones are really well cut, just divine.

heeh hee... I did not mean to say "for me" like I am so cool or anything. I just meant it was good enough for me. Here is a shot she sent me. I have said before the things I look for: High crown, small table, brightness accross the face of the stone, evidence of good patterning, kozibe. Check check check check check! Sold.
