Hi caocao.

Julie is correct in that the stone you have picked out is what is called a steep/deep. The Crown angle does not go well with the Pavillion angle, and vice versa. It''s not a very desirable stone, there are lots of better choices out there!

To help you figure out what angles do work, try plugging the numbers from different stones into the Holloway Cut Adviser at the top of the page under tools. It can be a tremendous help in weeding out undesirable stones.

This one is nice, eye clean, and with wire transfer just a tad more than your original price.
