I''ve been taking a jewelry making class for about 10 months now. It''s so much fun and I look forward to it every week!
I''d been wanting some stacking rings and put these rings together about 6 months ago now. Here is an amethyst pendant I''m working on. I have more I could post but my favorite piece is MIA and a few others have Lab stones. ( perfect for practice). I have done a few pairs of earrings too.

Sorry about the lint in the pics!
Here is the pendant I''m working on. The tiny piece will be on the bottom.

Kind of like this when it''s done.

Oh and I''m really excited about the pendant because it''s the first pen backed piece I''ve made.

oooh how exciting!!! where do you take the classes at?

Sounds like so much fun!!!!

I would love to find a class like this! This looks like so much fun!

That''s wonderful. With enough years of practice, you might be able to start up on etsy!! How fun!

Oh how fun! When someone asks about pieces you''re wearing, how cool is it to be able to say "I made that"!!

Those are seriously awesome, Innerkitten! I can''t wait to see the pendant finished!

I''ve been wondering when you would post some of your work! This looks so fun!

Wow, how cool! I took jewelry classes in hs and wasn''t the best, it took me forever to make a bezel set cab ring in sterling silver.

Beautiful pieces Innerkitten! Its great to see your work. What does pen backed mean?

Really pretty. And best of all, your own. You must be so proud of it!

That seems like loads of fun! And you are making some cool looking things! Well done!

Great job.

For a newbie you sure are doing just fine! And I''m sure it''s great to be developing new skills while having fun at the same time. Keep it going, practice (and patience) makes perfect

They''re very very very good considering you''ve only been doing it for such a short time. I can''t wait to see what you do further down the line ........... you may have to set yourself up on Etsy!

Hi Innerkitten,
I''ve been reluctant to join the Pricescope forum, but I just had to comment on your fine work! I remember when I sold my first ring, I asked "you want to ''buy'' that?!" It was a simple silver band, nothing as complex as what you are already creating. It looks like you have a talent, and with the desire to do it, you''ll progress very fast. Again, great job!

For others with an interest in learning the jewelry craft, I would suggest checking with your local community colleges. Many of them offer beginner jewelry classes.

Inner kitten, with an endorsement like that from Julia, I think you can plan on giving up your day job. Well done again.

Thank you Lovingdiamonds!!

Julia, I love your work! A compliment from you is a real honor.
