Hi all,

Calling all Price scopers opions!

I currently have the 1.89ct below on reserve and thinking of making a decision within the next week.

Do you have any opinion regarding two below diamonds. I am leaning towards the 1.89c as I was aiming for 2ct originally but to find a H&A 2ct after the size premium, think it may be way too much for my budget of approx. $20k USD.

Can anyone tell the difference between the cut of the two? Pros and Cons of each ? I presume the approx. 1k premium is for the one
colour grade up (G v H colour), and if it was the same size it would be about 2-3k difference.

More importantly, do we all think the 1.89 is a good option? Been advised its completely eye clean from top and side, no cloudy or haziness. My only concern was that the H colour may have a hint of yellow or warm tint to the stone in certain lighting? But I am hoping with the ideal cut this stone will face up whiter and possibly even seem like a G colour.

Is there anything I should expect or beware of or ask further about? Let me know what you think of the 1.89ct cert, ASETS, Ideal Scope images and video !!

Any advice would help ! thanks all in advance ! :appl:

I noticed the patch of green on the ASET on the 1.89ct stone. Is this just a dark spot, It shows up as blue on the magnified photos. is there much concern for this ?

Score 1.5 on HCA and WF advise it is a Strong H.

Take the H - it's bigger, and the G has an inclusion under the table I can clearly see in the video.

Agree.

I can clearly see the inclusion too, so another vote for the H. =)

It should be fine but the only true way you are going to know if you like the colour is by seeing it in person. If you hate it you can always send it back.

yep cant agree more about the inclusion .

The H is really my pick at the moment, I asked for the video to show it under different lighting.

Does anyone think or believe it will appear abit yellow or warm in real life by looking at the vid?

The arrows don't seem that black on the ideal scope . Is that just the way the photo is taken or is that actually a lesser light return on the arrows?

I can also see minor inclusions on the H around the 1 oclock and 7 oclock areas.

But then again this is magnified and they are in spots where I can cover with the claws/ setting luckily.

And if they arent covered, can I still trust this will be naked eye clean?

I also choose the H based on it not having visible inclusions under the table. H is not icy white, but in an ACA it is going to face up very white. I have H color ACA studs and they are plenty white for me. I might have chosen the G since they are close to the same size, but the H is so close to 2 cts and that size is pretty hard to find. But when it comes down to choosing, the better clarity is going to usually be the deciding factor for me. Definitely ask them which is most eyeclean from the top and sides in real life viewing.

They are not going to be able to do video that is going to show actual color. You have to see it in your hand to really see the color.

Another vote for the H, assuming you like the color when you see it hand. I wouldn't be surprised if the G was actually eye clean since it was labeled as such, but once you can spot an inclusion, it's hard to unsee it, even if no one else would ever notice :-)

I wont be able to inspect it physically as it will be an online purchase.

Ive seen G colours and can just accept that colour. Ive haven't seen any H colours I like but then again they aren't H&As !

I am hoping this ACA H colour will be close a G-Colour.

You can see my dilemma abit.

:errrr:

Ive tried looking at many GOG videos.. and images to settle my nerves abit.. and im still hopeful it will turn out ok !

Maybe I can try trewarne and check out their H colour hearts on fire.

Im banking on some of these claws to do some inclusion blocking work .. glad the table is clean though !

between the two in the video, the one on the right would be my choice.

Re: ACA - 1.89ct H SI1 - VIDEO! Advice pls!

1.89 seems to be more popular amongst all you diamond enthusiasts too which is good to know. Been advised the inclusion is not visible from the side or top views, without magnification. There is no haziness or cloudiness at all.

Do we have any other comments pscopers before I make a final call.. decisions decisions..
