A beginner here

I have recently found myself on the verge of getting engaged (likely within the next two months) and have begun the obvious diamond shopping. Having been linked through search engines and recommendations of Pricescope members, I''ve been looking intently at Blue Nile diamonds.

I basically have a very small amount of knowledge concerning diamonds so I''d like to just put this out there and see what you think. Is this a good deal? The 1/2 ct diamond below is the one I''ve been looking at. I''m not sure what other info would help to make a judgment but here''s what I have:

All the numbers are not listed there, but since it is an AGS0, it is probably a lovely diamond! My only qualm is that Blue Nile does not offer trade-ins, and if on the 10th anniversary or something you wanted to get a larger diamond, you could not trade it in.

I will also chime and and 2nd the whiteflash suggestion. One of the most knowledgable companies around and fantastic customer service. What I like that that they will take the time to educate you in all aspects of the diamond and not pressure you.
