Hello ladies! I went shopping a couple of weeks ago, because i was second guessing my dress and I wasn't sure it was going to fit properly. So my GFs and i went to David's Bridal, just to make sure there was something that i would be comfortable in if my fitting didn't go well. I DIDN'T change my mind on the dress - i am still wearing mine, which i LOVE.

However, I've noticed tons of ladies looking at this kind of style recently, and it's not available on the website for Davids - it's brand new. It is Oleg Cassini, taffeta, and absolutely gorgeous. I thought i would post just in case someone is looking for this style - honestly I would have been happy to wear this dress it's so pretty!

I like the style of this dress a lot!!! Very simple and chic. Is it expensive?

Oooh, I''m not normally drawn to "architectural" gowns, but that one is really pretty!

The day i went it was $750, b/c there was a david''s sale going on - i would imagine that would make it regularly around $900. I''ve been seeing lots of similar styles on here with the natural waist and full skirt, and i have to say the comfort level was awesome, as well as the pretty neckline....

Love the dress! The style is very unique without being over the top, just gorgeous!

Is the dress pictured your size? It looks like it's small in the bust. If you purchase it, make sure that you'll be able to let it out a bit.

ETA: I should really read the OP, lol. Still an awesome dress!

Ha! it was definitely too small in the bust

- good looking out! It fit great everywhere but there!

Oh, and for anyone who is interested...this is my dress - it fit pretty well at the fitting since i''ve lost a few lbs., so i was pleased, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE it.

Violet, it''s such a neat dress. I love the uniqueness and structure of the neckline and hang of the skirt.

I like the one you have much better!
