Red Red Ruby

Oh my !!!! I was on the fence when it came to rubys, but when my husband asked what I wanted for a birthday gift all I could think about was the Ruby Enhoerning Jewelry had on LT. It seemed to be sold and would show up again . I decided I would take a chance. It had the papers...said it was unheated, untreated. Vivid saturation....medium deep hue...cut seemed good. Labeled pigeons blood by lotus gemology.
Well it came and wow...just wow.
Now I get it....why rubys are loved.
I may never take it off. Oh my gosh....the Red!!! It glows.

Its 1.13ct 5x7mm, set in a magnolia setting from Etsy, diamond halo and white and rose gold. Size 6.5

@renwea all the "pigeon blood" rubies I have seen have been very dark. Yours is absolutely gorgeous, and is my new gold standard for ruby color!

Thanks prs! Here is the sellers picture, I think it is pretty true to 'in real life'. Its pretty scary buying online, but the return policy reassured me and Im so glad I did. As soon as it arrived I knew I wasn't sending it back. When I emailed to say I was happy with the ruby she said " Yes, it's exquisite. Not the biggest but clearly the best ruby I have sold in 2018"

Thanks for all the nice comments, it was scary to buy online especially after doing some research and reading about all the treatments that can be done to rubys. I love jade too and it seems like that can be difficult to find without treatment.
