Pendant setting designers?

My asscher search is nearing its conclusion, and my local jeweler is recommending letting them design a custom pendant setting. I'm not sure they are known for their jewelry design, so I thought I'd ask the group here if they can recommend skilled and creative setting designers.

I'm looking for a minimal design, I think, but something that helps really showcase the awesomeness of the asscher stone. My three finalists are between 1.6 and 1.85.

Looking forward to reading any recommendations.

Has anyone ever seen a partial bezel on an asscher? Sort of like a V post on a princess or marquise, but where the bezel covers only the clipped sections?

I'd also thought about etching or enameling with color (is that done?) certain parts of the setting, prongsp, etc. Even though I don't want a lot of metal, what metal there is I wouldn't mind it having some interesting details.

This is a ring from Ivy&Rose. I wonder what it (or something similar) might look like as an asscher pendant, hung like a kite, rather than a box.
