Bow Tie Remedies?

I usually stay away from ovals due to bow ties and other extinction issues.........but am curious if bow ties can be creatively changed with facet cuts across the bow tie. In my mind it would not eliminate the darkness, but it would 'cut it up' potentially. Hoping those with some cutting experience could respond.......I don't believe I've seen this done, but am curious if it's an imaginary alternative, or if it could be possible or if it has been done?
