Hi again! So now I''m stuggling between an oval and a round... Here are some specs on a round diamond I looked at:

.94 carat, RB
H color
VS1 clarity
VG symmetry
VG polish
priced for $5,458

I don''t remember the other percentages, but I saw the diamond inside the store and the sparks it gave off almost blinded me in comparison to the G, SI1 oval sitting beside it. When I took the stone outside though, it looked dark blue/gray in comparison with the oval (which appeared white with tiny sparkles). The round still popped with big sparkles, but just seemed darker.

Is this normal? Does this sound like a good price? Thanks in advance for any help you can give!!

That''s not really enough specs for us to comment on about that specific stone. Given the price and cut, it is probably overpriced.

Check out these as comparisons:

If you want H color, these are nice choices!
Cinnamon is right, if you could get the;

depth
table
crown angle
pavillion angle
girdle thickness

which should be on the grading report, then we can go from there.

That''s actually what well cut stones do in the sun. It may be a potentially good one.
