.925 sterling silver jewelry

HI, im new here, my question is i have a .925 sterling silver jewelry and it is rhodium plated how long will it takes for the rhodium plated to wear off and when it does, will it look black, silver or what?

Silver that is plated usually has a slightly different type of plating.
There is no generic answer because there are so many different pprocesses.

If you do not want a white metal that oxidizes (1/2 the appeal of silver anyway) then pay for white gold or platinum
