Hi there guys, first I want to apologize for asking all you for your opinion as it takes time for you to reply and I bet every newby on here does this. I am buying a diamond for my engagement and I have this diamond in mind to purchase

I can get it for $2800 + tax which to me sounds like a GOOD deal. When i see other diamonds with roughly the same l/w ratio, depth, and table on websites such as bluenile, diamondsonweb, diacan, I see alot of diamonds priced higher. This one has an indented natural that looks like it is very near to the girdle, i have seen the stone in person though and it is eye-clean.

with this indented natural, is there any cause to worry?? To me the price is good, but is this diamond worth it. I would like a pro opinion as to me, shiny is shiny. I have done my basic research but ofcourse you would know more.

Here is the link,

Thank you, all your opinions will be very valued.

well guys?? Is this a good buy with the indented natural. The jeweler said it would be covered up by a claw.

Woah, that is one giant table at 74% compared to the 65% depth. I''d be concerned how flat and dull the radiant might look. Also, there is no actual picture of the radiant provided, only a sample picture. I would never buy a fancy stone without an actual picture.

Welcome to Pricescope!

You can't judge a radiant by numbers so much, I would ask for detailed pics and an ASET image if they can provide one. Otherwise you have no way of knowing how it may look, so get photos at least if you can.

Also you need to check very carefully that this diamond is eyeclean to your requirements as it is SI2 clarity. Also it is easier to keep to one thread, I replied to your other one earlier.

I think you may need to see the diamond in person, in real life!

If it doesn''t look dull to you, go for it! Try to compare it to a similar radiant with different specs if you can, and see if you can tell a difference on cut.

I missed that bit, as you have seen it in person - which is totally the best way to judge a radiant, then it is definitely worth considering.

I missed that part as well. It would be good if you have the opportunity to compare it to other radiants with similiar specifications to see if you still like that one best.

If you have seen the diamond in real life, and it looks good to you that''s all that matters. Take it to an independent appraiser to have the indented natural checked out.
