Maybe 8.24 is the total weight of the ring and the oval is only 6ct. It says he bought it for $180k. She should give it back though since she broke it off. He looks like an odd duck and they look an odd pair.

The only way women that attractive are with a guy that looks like that is for the money. He gave her the ring, she probably earned it. If he is as wealthy as they claim he is a low life for wanting it back again.

And my guess too is that it is 8.24 carats split between 3 stones so the centre is obviously smaller than what you first assume.
 
In some states here there are laws that say the ring will be returned if the receiver broke off the engagement. If I broke off an engagement I would not keep the ring, to me that is bad form. If she was only with him for the money then she is a special kind of woman, but we don't really know do we? Maybe they are both special kinds of people. He is a rich odd duck weirdo and she is a gold digger.

It sounds like he is the son of the not-so-rich Koch brother so maybe $180K is a lot of dough for him. Perhaps its just spite that he wants it back since he probably knows she was only after the $.

Florida law says if the donee breaks the engagement or if it’s mutually broken, the donee is supposed to give the ring back to the donor. So if he broke things off she could legally keep it.

I thought in that pic he was kinda cute too - in a nerdy way. But I have seen other pics of his clothing line, definitely odd and not my style. LOL.

Forgive me anyone that is gay for saying this, but my gaydar/bi radar goes off looking at pics of him. I really want to show one of my gay male friends his pics and say what do you think am imagining that because of his oddness or are you picking up the same vibe about him.....

It could just be the clothing but I've known a couple of gay guys that date really attractive women - one that was young very handsome and very wealthy that always had a model on his arm and dated models for years and years and anyone that really really knew the guy knew he was gay and hiding it from his family the public and so on.
 
I don’t care if he is gay or straight or if he should get the ring back or not. I still think the price is too low for the size. Anyone?
 
Maybe it's big and flashy and the centre stone is heavily included they have a stock picture of a ring like it not the actual ring, so without seeing it in person we can't really judge the clarity of all the stones in it that would greatly impact the price.
