Hi, all. I''m considering purchasing an engagement ring, and I''ve been reading a lot of stuff at this site, as well as GoG. Anyway, at the country that I live (Indonesia), the options are not as many as what''s available in the states. So, after much searching, I''ve narrowed down the choice to these two stones:
.61 Carat Round Lazare G VS1
.73 Carat Round GIA G VS2
The price differs only by a $100 (the .73 more expensive). To my eye, the size looks the same. The GIA stone has a higher brightness, whereas the Lazare has better contrast. The scintilation on both stones are very similar.
Which one would you pick?
