I''m narrowing down my diamond search to 2 diamonds and I was going to choose this .91 ct round over a .95 because the width and length were a little larger than the .95. However I just read up on another post about a diamond being too shallow and not suited for a ring..

Can you please help me out with this diamond? Crown is 33% and Pavilion is 40.6%. I also was going to choose this because it scored lower on the cut analysis (the .91ct scored .7 compared to .95ct score of 1.7)

In case if you were curious the other diamond is table 54%, depth 62.4%, crown 35%, and pavilion 40.8%.

Both are gia cert., VS1, H color, and excellent symmetry.

Thanks for lookin''!

It could be a nice stone, ask the vendor for an Idealscope image for this diamond, that would tell us more.

Ahh one step ahead of you

probably should have said that before hand. I contacted jamesallen.com and they''re going to get me the idealscope images from both diamonds. I assume this doesn''t take much time?

Hehe!

It usually doesn''t take long to get an IS image, a couple of days is normally about right.
