Hi all
Just let me know your opinion.
Is is possible to get a just break the 1.2ct barrier with an excellent/ideal cut diamond (great aset/ps/h&a images) with a 5500usd budget?
do you think such a stone will come around in the market ? (if i just press on in searching.)

or is a 5500usd probably enough for a 1.1+ct

I am looking for a Round brilliant, H and IS1 (prefer) or IS2

i saw these 2 diamonds
they dimensions are practically the same
i was wondering what are people''s opinions on these stones
both are ACA from white flash.

1.111ct

1.122ct

the plotting chart for both SI2 have slight feathers near the girdle (?)
do you think this might be a problem?

Probably not but depends on how willing you are to go out of the boundary of what is considered a ''good'' stone by the general public.

Glitterata, I believe got a 1.45c S I1 Infinity H&A stone for less than 4k, I think, might be wrong about the price but definitely below 5k.

I very much doubt it with hand selected ACA diamonds, the inclusions will have been carefully inspected and if these were any kind of issue these diamonds would not be representing the ACA brand. Check with WF if you are concerned, they will be pleased to discuss the diamonds with you, they are both great stones.

Ditto the others. Also to your original question, it might be possible to get a well cut 1.2 within your desired parameters. Here is one possibility, you''d have to ask about eye-clean and can request an IS image.

Keep in mind that the difference in diameter between a well cut 1.1 an 1.2 is only .2mm. You might be able to tell the difference if unmounted and sitting side by side, but once mounted, the difference would not be noticeable.

Best of luck in your search.
