Wow..it says thats the worlds largest but I think it's the second largest if they are talking about brazilian after reviewing my notes.. Sucker is sweet. The japanese love paraibas more than anyone.
I thought we were not allowed to post videos..at first I thought we were and then ella said we were not..I am confused[scratches head]

I think it's that we can't post our own videos. We've been able to post youtube videos forever...

I posted the 52 carat pariaba video above a long time ago. I didn't get warned, but I think you do have to request permission to post any video, regardless of whether it is our own or not. I think Ella mentioned this in another thread, can't find it though. People should ask for clarification just in case.

I posted in the suggestion box last night to make sure I understood...this is what ella said

"We allow videos for educational purposes that are not on a personal website/video account and are not promotional with prior approval.

We have had people post videos, as recently as last week, that pretended to be educational but followed at the end with a sales pitch. It happens more than you would think. Posts and photos are far easier for us to be sure the intention is right.

We are still working on a way to integrate videos onto the forum without opening up a can of worms regarding personal security."

Gorgeous colors! But...I almost hate saying this because it makes me sound like a snob...but the window in that Paraiba breaks my heart. The cutting could have been soooooo much better on that beautiful stone!

Exactly my thoughts! What I find odd is that it's supposed to be 52ct bit it's the same size as the ring (the whole ring) in the video. I've got an 18ct one and it's huge - much bigger than a ring. So it must be very very very deeply cut but then that's odd that it has such a stunning window!
