I’ve had this ring for a year! I feel so bad that I’m just posting it now. It’s such a special ring and I had so much fun working with Caysie on this project. There’s quite a story behind this ring. I’ll start at the beginning...
My husband and I found this gorgeous yellow diamond and chose it for my engagement ring. Here are it’s specs:
9.21 x 9.17. 6.40 mm
5.01 ct
Fancy Yellow
VVS2
I had it put in a gorgeous setting and wore it as my wedding ring for about a year.
Aaaaaand then....I found my gorgeous 5.59 ACA diamond from Whiteflash and my sweet hubby agreed to buy that one for our 1st anniversary to enjoy on my left hand.
I then started looking for a setting for my yellow diamond for my right hand. I reached out to Caysie (CVB) and we began working on this project. She is amazing and so creative. She immediately thought about a halo of rosecuts and I got super excited about it! I also had her made the Jolene band around the same time (shown in some of the photos below).
New CVB ring specs:
5.01 ct Fancy Yellow cushion diamond
2.5 ctw custom rosecut diamond halo with masterfully executed micro pave scalloped frames.
I hope my iPhone photos do this gorgeous ring justice. Even though I had Caysie make it as a right hand ring, I’ve decided to not wear it as a right hand ring. I tend to just alternate between this ring with the Jolene band as my wedding ring and my ACA depending on what I’m wearing and if I’m going more yellow gold or platinum.
