Wedding 40 dresses later .....

I'm taking the plunge tomorrow and ordering my wedding dress! So scared, but it's the one I had the most emotional feeling in and it's the one my mind keeps going back to. For the past two weeks I've been referring to it as "my dress." Tonight I tried it on again for the second time to make sure I got the same feeling.

Aww thanks, you''re so sweet! I love the romance of it too. Unfortunately the sample is a size too small so I couldn''t get the whole effect of it being totally zipped.

I''m so afraid of having buyer''s remorse once that money leaves my bank account, but I have to just go for it. I wish I could be one of those brides who decided on the dress the way they would choosing what to have for dinner...but alas, I''m not. I have to be difficult. : )

I think it''s pretty normal for a lot of brides to have second doubts about their dress, but I don''t think you should. It''s a stunning dress and you look incredible

Wow, it's so lovely! I love the overlay and the sweetheart neckline. I agree, it's a very romantic style and I think it looks great on you; I honestly think it looks better on you than the model! And I love the white on you as opposed to the champagne that it also comes in.

I'm so picky about dresses and there aren't many I really like, but this one I really do! Great choice, you'll make a lovely bride!

Not sure about the veil -- I loved it! It had this great beading on the edges that complemented the dress so well.

Here''s another pic from the side (excuse the fact it''s not zippered up all the way and I''m sticking my stomach out! This will probably come out sideways.

I''m so excited!!! Don''t you just love it? Mine arrived last weekend but I want to trim my flabby arms before I post pics. Just to let you know, it took about 4.5, 5 months. I suspect that it was delayed because the Chinese workers were busy making costumes for the Olympics.
You are so gorgeous!!! It''s so funny that the same dress look different on us. Are you getting it in white? And you''re getting married just a week ahead of us

Luckily I found my dress on eBay through a B&M salon retailer -- brand new, not used as a sample or anything. I ordered it in ivory...what about you?

choro- I can''t wait to get mine! Maybe next week. I''m having it delivered to my office, so my friends there are bugging me to try it on the day it comes and prance around my office in it! I''m so nervous about the alternations. Since I didn''t buy it from a salon, I need to find an independent seamstress, and the delicate lace and beading has me nervous to have altered.

Now, onto finding the veil, shoes, and jewelry. Hopefully this will be easier than selecting the dress. I still can''t believe I bought my WEDDING DRESS!

My dress arrived today!!!
I love it so much. If I could wear it every day until the wedding I would. It''s perfect except I''ll need the hemline taken up, neckline taken in, and if I lose more weight (down 36 since last year) the bodice too.
