4 prong or 6 prong?? Memoire Semi Mount

I am looking to purchase a 4 stone .20 point each semi mount and i can''t decide if I should have my 2c round mounted in a 4 or 6 prong..what are the advantages or disadvantages?

some feel that a 6 prong setting is safer b/c if one prong get''s bent you''d still have 5 others holding on to the stone. there are several gals here with 2 carat+ rings and only 4 prongs so i think it''s more a matter of preference. the 6 prong lovers seem to really like how it keeps the stone looking really round and 4 prongs can sometimes make them lose a bit of round appearance. for a 2 carat memoire, i''d probably go ahead and vote for the 6 prong.

I have a four stone HOF semi-mount, very similar to Memoire, with a 6 prong head. It's shown in my avatar. I like the way the 6 prong keeps the round look to my diamond. The prongs IRL are very delicate. The head is high enough so my five stone wedding band sits flush with the e-ring. If you click on my pictures, you can see the set
