Would a 4-prong (standard tiffany style) give a 0.60 ct sized diamond a square look??

I like the 4-prong for its simple yet timeless classic look. But am kinda worried about giving the Round Brilliant stone a square look.

I would go with the 6-prong, but then again, for a diamond of this size, I feel that the prongs would give a cluttered look to the ring, and make the diamond appear smaller than it already is.

Opinions anyone? And remember, this is a 0.60ct sized rock.

Hi DNA...

The number of prongs are purely a
personal preference. But I think that
a four prong setting has its advantages.
It exposes more of the diamond to be seen,
and appreciated.

i see what you're saying -- and this is exactly why i prefer a four prong setting: it looks more "square"...but that's me...good luck with your decision!
