Hi all.. I''m looking to upgrade to a 3ish (2.7+5 as long as the spread is nice) antique cushion. I like the rounded cushions the best.

I''m thinking of contacting ERD because of the great reviews.. but have to sell the old ring first ;) Hopefully that wont take too long.

Does anyone have a old cut cushion from ERD?

I thought I would post this thread on reselling jewellery, in case you hadn''t seen it - it might be useful.

I would definitely contact Mark at ERD, as he has found many stunning cushions for PSers, so lets hope your ring sells quickly so you can get going on it!

It will help if you can tell the vendor what face up size you're looking for. Especially with old cuts - for example, I recently saw a very deep 3.10 carat OMC that only faced up 8mm, whereas a 2.75 carat cushion we recently sold measured 8.4mm. (not to mention a 3.06 carat transitional we recently acquired which faces up a whopping 10mm!)

When you're talking antique cushions/OMC's, the depth of the stones can really vary from diamond to diamond.

ETA - I assume from the title of the thread that you are seeking an antique diamond and not a newly cut cushion, correct?

Do you mean an old style new cushion or an actual antique stone? Because I think ERD mainly deals with old style new cushions, not antique stones.

Single Stone has some nice stones in your range right now but those are antique stones. I''m not sure what quality/price range you''re looking at. We need more details.
