So, I''m looking at yet another stone and I''m back again for some input!

Here are the stats:

2.41ct
8.65x8.71
SI1
GIA cert

Table: 58
Depth: 60.5
Crown: 33.5
Pavillion: 41
star: 50
lgf: 80
girdle: thin - medium

HVA: 1.1 (w/in TIC)

The spread looks great for the size, but is this trouble w/the CA and girdle combo? I don''t want the stone to crack during setting! What do you think? I''m planning to do a six-prong tiffany setting...

Thanks!!!

You should be fine, since the girdle is not very or extremely thin. A thin-medium girdle is great, since it''s not so thick as to waste carat weight, but it''s not so thin that it will pose a danger of cracking.

Ditto, the crown angle and girdle combo should be fine, any diamond can suffer damage during setting, but it is rare, and I wouldn''t think this diamond is more prone to it than any other.
