Hey, if it's round and metal and fits the desired finger go nuts. Why not?
I have noticed different people like to wear rings on different fingers. Even noticed a few folks wearing rings on thier thumbs!?!?
I know it was intentional, as I offered to size them to properly fit one of thier fingers, but was told they bought them that way for thier thumbs....
Go figure. Maybe it will be next on DeBeers list after right hand rings...
Of course! Wear any ring you want on any finger you want!
Traditionally, in America, the wedding ring is worn on the left fourth finger (the "ring finger"). The engagement ring goes on the same finger, if it fits there--otherwise it can go somewhere else, such as the right ring finger.
In Europe, women often wear the wedding ring on the right ring finger.
Those are all the rules I know. And I don't always follow them.
They are your fingers and the ring or rings belong to you and you are a free person. You can wear any ring on any finger or all of them. You don't need anybody to give you permission.
Thanks for the input, everyone. I was actually wondering if a three stone ring would look alright on the middle finger, since I've seen a lot of people wear it on their ring finger or their fourth finger on the right hand.
I love thumb rings...my girlfriend has an awesome diamond thumb eternity style ring and it looks very cool. I used to have a silver one, but eventually want a very thin channel set eternity one (signedpieces.com has some that are perfect). I tend to play with the ring on the thumb alot and like the way it feels, and sparkles when you talk with your hands.
