3 stone oval or round w pear sides????

Hiii ladies,

I am currently looking at rings because my bf and I are close to engagement. I have 3 options:

1) 3 stone oval, all stones oval. center stone the largest. maybe 70/30% center and two sides
2) 3 stone with the center being round and the two sides stones being pear shaped
3) 3 stone with the center being oval and the sides being pear shaped

HELP please! I think all are pretty, but I cant seem to decide. Advice or suggestions?!

I vote for round or oval with pear sides. Have you tried on ovals at all? They are quite beautiful and I love how they can elongate the finger, but they do not have the same brilliance that a round can. That being said, I think they are quite elegant and that an oval/pear 3 stone would be great.

I think an oval with pear sides could be amazing! I'm also fond of a 3 stone oval, if the proportion are right....you really can't go wrong with any of your choices...not very helpful, I know!

Stunning. I like the half moons with the oval or the three ovals, but honestly, I don't think there's a bad choice in the bunch.

I vote for round center, pear sides. Rounds are easier to choose (using the IS and HCA) than ovals are since they often have unappealing bow tie. Make sure you work with a reputable and knowledgeable jeweler when choosing your pear sides, though. I didn't know about the bow tie effect when I bought my own pear, and it seriously drives me up the wall. I rarely wear my ring anymore because of this.

My favorite setting is a RB center with pear sides so that's my vote.
