Opinions pleeeeease...
I love the radiant cut!! the following are 3 options.. please note that the pictures make it look more yellowish that they really are, and that i do prefer a warmer looking stone
The girl who I am working with on these used to rate diamonds at GIA. She works for Uniondiamonds. She is really great! She really likes the cut on the 2.5, which is the biggest one there, and said that if that was the same cut in a 2.0, she would go for the 2.0. I tend to lean toward the crushed ice look, but when I look at the 2.5 and 2.0 in the mirror, the 2.5 is more radiant, and seems to emenate sparkles, and looks whiter, where as the 2.0 looks a little more champagny (which isn''t bad for me!) and looks more condensed or even cloudy becuase of the crushed ice in it.. opinions please
I see, but do you think the 2.5 looks terrible? It is 7200 which is a great deal... I just felt that it had a better sparkle when viewing it from about 4 feet away..I''m so confused!
YES! THEY ARE, but I promise they look really nice in person, like I said the 2.5 just is so radiant, and the 2.0 looks more cloudy from 4 feet away because of the crushedness..
i really do prefer a warmer colored stone.. the clear white look doesn''t appeal to me and i wear mostly more antiquy warmer colors.. so i do like them!
I suppose it seems that i''m trying to convince myself of the 2.5, and I am not sure if that is because of the size or not....arg!
I don''t know.. at first what I liked about the radiant was that it had that snow storm look, and looking into it was like a prism, and you just kind of lost yourself in it...I really didn''t like the way the round looked like an iris and the facets were so defined...but i''m not so sure anymore because of what i said previously, and the brilliance of the way it looked from afar....
O, I''m sorry, I think the one that I said was an H is an I (EGL)... the thing is.. there was a 1.53, IGI rated, I color, SI1, that we actually bought at Jared''s for 7100.. we are going to return it because after looking at wholesalers, that is just a terrible price.. we liked it, and i figured that IGI is somewhat equivalent to EGL..so an I or J , EGL them may be similar to the IGI at jared''s, and I like the higher carat weight stones. So basically.. I guess I am trying to compromise where I can to stay within budget.
