ok, so the reports are in and I need all your girls helps!

This is from a previous thread, but my reply to it just isn't very eye catching at the bottom vs a new post.

Gemoligist says: 184425 and 194016 are extremely close with a tiny edge going to 194016 in performance which may be indistinguishable. Gemoligist and person working with her feel they perform much better than 196536. I was given advice that given the price/size difference that 184425 may be the best buy.

However, without further ado, lets take a look at those Ideal Scope images..

184425:

Let me know if anyone wants me to call them back for some questions or more information. I can do so asap

If I was going to choose just based on the idealscopes....I'd go with the first one. I'm not a fan of all the inclusions, but again, I'd pick number 1 because the other two have feathers that would worry me.

i would choose none of the above and recommend that you do the same. these aren't great looking idealscopes.

they are excellent ideal scopes and if he chooses any of them they'll be beautiful.

oh no. is that because there are inclusions in each one, or because the "good one" is a K?

These images are fine. I don't know what DaF thinks is wrong at all.

Anywho... I like the first two, as I prefer fatter arrows. I'd ask about the inclusions to make sure they are eye clean and also ask which is the better performer - they'll be honest and tell you. K color has nothing to do with cut quality or IS images. But I'd prefer a higher color, J over K, but then again we don't know how tinted the stones are. It could be a "high" J and look more like an I or it could be a "low" J and look like a K. Same with the K - could be closer to a J or closer to an L. The gemologist will be able to tell you that too.

UM.....what?!?

All 3 pass the IS test, not the best of the best but they are good.
What did the gemologist say about the inclusion and being eyeclean?

IS images are not a good way to evaluate inclusions. A gemologist opinion is important here.

gemologist claims they are all definitely eyeclean and that the first 2 are extremely close in performance defeating the third.

I should probably ask about the inclusions, but if I choose the first one I think I'm very safe right.

I wasn't using the IS to determine the inclusions, I clicked on the links and compared them according to the GIA reports, the video and the pictures on the site.

1 and 2 have missing dark triangle under the stars.

for the 3rd, i am personally not a fan of having feathers on the table facet.
