How should I get this set? East to West or North to South?

Trying to figure out how to resize photos on this mac.

What finger size are you? Even with Leon''s delicate halos you are looking at adding another 2.6mm in finger coverage at least. Is your finger 12mm across? I''ve never seen a halo done east west especially not one with a stone of this size but its possible.

For me it would be E/W no halo. I wouldnt halo it unless you want it to be really large. I would probably still set it E/W with a halo unless it was too
big then I would go N/S.

BTW - beautiful stone!

I''d go North South either with or without a halo. I personally think a delicate HW style halo would be TDF.

I think cushions look bigger with NS settings when they are more rectangular. Just my opinion though! It will be amazing in any setting!

NS with halo you are looking at 80% or greater finger coverage.
EW closer to 90 - 100% with a halo.

Its a matter of taste, If you are deciding for yourself then I would go with NS in a halo a delicate one.

Super cushion and I bet it shows some serious fire! Personally I don''t think it needs a halo but it is a matter of personal taste.

As others have said, it''s all personal preference. I''m a "less is more" gal, so I wouldn''t halo. It has enough presence on it''s own imo. I''d put it in a nice simple setting and let the diamond have center stage. And in this case I''d set it N/S.

I just got engaged and have a 2.7 carat from Mark! It''s gorgeous and it''s a solitaire with no halo - I have received SO MANY AMAZING complements about how perfect the solitaire setting is because the diamond is just gorgeous. So that''s my vote...good luck!
