it''s pretty much eye clean, but it has some feathers and twinning wisps along the edges and one on the table. I''ll post the gia plot from the cert later tonight. What do you all think about the price and specs?

Thanks A Million!

I think the cut looks fine, but I''d be concerned about the inclusions in a stone that size. The chances of an 3ct SI2 being eyeclean is pretty low. you said you saw it in person, right? Did you check it out under various lighting conditions? What may not be visible in some, can be visible in others.

Hi Jim,

For a stone of this size, everything looks pretty darn good. I see no red flags at all. Price seems quite fair.

Did you look at it in natural diffused lighting for color warmth and the inclusions? I know you discussed them, just not sure what environment you looked at them in.

Also, did you look at the sparkle/fire/brightness factor, in various lighting arrangements? Does it seem pretty and lively? Did you possibly compare to other stones?

Hi Jim,
You mentioned "pretty much eye clean"
Were you able to spot the imperfections?
If so, that could be a longer term problem....something that might bother your eye over the long term.
It''s kind of a personal thing- but in my experience, it''s more common for people NOT to want visible imperfections in their diamond. Believe it or not, some don''t mind- and a small percentage like it.
I LOVE eye clean SI2 stones- especially in the larger sizes as they offer outstanding value!
