After seeing this chart: http://images.amazon.com/media/i3d/01/actual-diamond-size.pdf I am now 2nd guessing that my stone is a 1.53 radiant. When I look at the 1.5 radiant example, it is way bigger than mine....for example, the chart shows at 1.5 its dimensions are 8.0 x 6.0. Since mine is more square thasn rectangiular, its dimensions are 6.86 x 6.32 x 4.46.
What is up with that??

ok, so I''m a dink. Though I had the chart at 100%, but it was actually 150%....thus all things were bigger! Fweeeww, I feel better!

Your radiant is gorgeous, now stop second guessing it!!!

I''ve looked at carat/size charts in a number of books and I find they run a little ''large'' actually. This seems to be especially true of the sizes that are under a carat.

In actual stones I also find that the ''sparklier'' a diamond is the larger it looks! Better quality stones with more flash look bigger. They also look bigger right after you clean them -at least I have found this to be the case with mine. It''s not particularly large but it does draw notice from across the room!

thanks for the reassurance,guys... Kaleigh, thanks for the boost! I do love it, it almost seems too good to be true...hence, my worry..

I do love to look at this site and am now looking at shared prong hoops,my hubby will kill me if he sees me on this site again!!! lol

This site has cost me a bundle. It''s sooo bad, but the way I look at is I have acutally saved a lot of money from being here, than say if I went and bought from a B&M.
