I would like to get a platinum 2mm half channel set wedding band to go with my ER. Do channel settings this thin even exist? I could also use some advice as to where to buy from... would it be possible to find under $1000?

I got my 2.2 mm full eternity cnahhel band for $985 from signed pieces. I love it...I originally did not like the look of channel bands but this is so gorgeous ans thin that it looks like pave, not chunky at all with really thin platinum sides. Ypu should check them out.

Please ignore all the misspellings in my last post....sorry just painted my nails!

I recently had WF quote me for my wedding band. 2mm channel set band came in just under $1k but that''s in yellow gold, so I am not sure how much plat would be. They do come than thin, you just have to search around for one.

I can''t wait to order mine, but with our crappy Australian dollar, I will be waiting a few more months

I got a similar quote recently and the platinum was about $1200.

Mine is 2.5 and I find it quite thin.

Here you go: 2.3 mm and $884. Top knotch quality: http://www.signedpieces.com/item.cfm?item_id=1053
Thanks, I actually saw that one before and think it''s lovely. I''m just a little nervous about the diamonds going all the way around. I''m not very gentle with my rings... would I need to worry about the diamonds on the bottom? How does resizing work?

You can't resize eternities, and if you bang your hands on things there is a risk, I suppose, although channel sets are more durable (which is why I am considering this option). WF will make a 3/4 round for the price I mentioned, about $1200. So if you worry about re-sizing then it may be worth the extra $300.

mine is also a very slim channel set asscher band from signed pieces.. the website says dimension is 3.1mm wide but i asked them to make it closer to 2mm and they were able to get it down to about 2.2mm, so i think you have some discretion since they make it after you order.

Tiffany''s has a slime 2 mm channel set wedding band. I believe it was 1700

Oh, I didn''t realize they make it after you order. I like their rings, maybe I''ll see if they could make me something custom like that...

LOL I have tried on a couple of the 2mm tiff''s ones and they were very nice however they didn''t go with my ring.
