I am looking at buying a Tacori 2620 ring for my gf. Her ring size is 3.75 and I am trying to keep the band size small, but I am not sure if I should go with the larger "2620 RD LG 1.75ct* to 2.25ct*" or the smaller "2620 RD MD 1.19ct* to 1.74ct*"

Can anyone who has the 2620 give me some idea about the band size on the large vs. small rings? I know Tacori is a custom jeweler so they will put the smaller band on the larger ring, but I dont know if that will impact the strength or look of the ring.

Last question. I am looking at the following diamond ranges:

1.5-1.9ct
F-G
AGS0
EX/EX
VS1-SI1(eye clean)--> What does it mean to be eye clean? Is it only the top or 360 on the diamond
HCA score <2.0

Is there anything else that I need to be looking into.

Thanks for the info!! I am just wondering if the thick band would look really thick on her small finger given that she wants a thinner looking band?

If it going to look think I would ask Tacori to put the medium size band onto the ring.

I wear a size 3.5 and my e-ring is 3mm and doesn''t seem to wide to me at all. But, I actually prefer a little width and substance to my rings. Tacori might put the thinner band on a ring with the larger stone but they usually have the different sizes in place for a reason and much of it could be for the integrity of the ring. That is something you can discuss with your Tacori dealer and they will be able to advice you as to what would be best. Goodoldgold is a very popular vendor her who carries tacori and has amazing diamonds so you might include them in your search and get a quote from them.

I have a 1.34RB set in the 2620 and I also have a size 3.75 finger. You can see photos of how the ring (and matching eternity band) look on my finger. I love the 2mm width!

I agree with MrsSalvo. I''m sure there''s a reson for the increase in mm with each setting size.

2mm is a thin band (in my opinion). I recommend if you can''t try on the 2620 to at least try on a 2mm eternity band. If her ring size is 3.75, that ring will really pop on her finger. And with the halo effect, it will look even bigger than it is.

Besides if you put anything less than the range in the large setting, you may pay custom fees to keep the thick band (if possible).

I have the Tacori 2620 with the 2mm band and I love it. I''m a size 3.5, so slightly smaller than your girl, but I feel like the thin band enhances the look of the stone.

I also have this setting with the 2mm band and I have the extra large setting 2.25 and up. Still went with the 2mm though.

EM1,

Did you have any issue with the sturdiness of the ring? Also, if I may ask, what is your ring finger size and did that play a part in your decision to stick with the 2.0mm band?

I am looking at the large setting which would come with the 2.4mm band, but I also thought that the 2.0mm band would look better.

Thanks!!
