$2500 budget for stone and bezel setting--Please Help

I'm hoping to tap into your expertise. I am seeking a bezel ring, plain, in white gold. Wondering whether I could put a J or K stone in a white gold bezel. I've been looking on James Allen and Blue Nile for a stone and I was hoping for .7ct stone, would consider I/J/K and SI stones. Any advice? Thanks so much.

Id suggest forgoing the rhodium plating if your going to go the J/K route in a bezel The rhodium is extra white and will provide more of a contrast than the white gold alone would.

I assume youre going for a round, if so, I think these are worth reserving for idealscopes and a clarity assessment. I prefer tha BN bezel, but I do not have any idea if they are willing to do it sans rhodium. JA doesn't prefer to send a ring out without rhodium, but I asked nicely and they did lol.

otherwise from BN, this is the one id consider, the twinning wisps, ideally shouldn't be a huge problem, and I like the fat arrows and smaller table.

Yes. As youre buying a round vs a fancy and they have a good return pol, personally, id take the chance. I've bought and returned diamonds before, really wasn't the end of the world.

Yes, Niel. That's the setting. I ordered it last night from Blue Nile. I'll report back when I receive it. Cross your fingers. And I did find the amount of pictures and the videos on the Blue Nile site to be helpful to see what the finished ring will look like. Thank so much for the input.

The ring is a 20th wedding anniversary present/upgrade and I'm thrilled. I had my eye on the famous Sholdt semi-bezel, but it wasn't in the budget. This setting was a great alternative for the price. And the stone ended up being larger than I had hoped when I first started shopping. Thanks again for helping me find the perfect ring!
