I had a lot of leftover ornaments after decorating a tree for my mother-in-law, so I decided to make her a wreath. I had fun spending a chilly afternoon crafting in the backyard to avoid getting glitter everywhere inside

Christmas gift for my oldest niece. She is obsessed with horses after starting to take riding lessons, and I managed to find a pair of tiny horse head studs. I really struggled wrapping these up; I have to admit I thought about keeping them for myself!

I’ve been stalking this guy on eBay for a week. I have been on the lookout for the perfect, large brass deer for a long time now, and I finally made this one mine tonight. I can’t wait to see him in person and shine him up and put a wreath around his neck! He will look great on the hearth of the fireplace that is causing me so much stress during the remodel

I forgot to add my tinsel tree with vintage ornaments!
I just realized my husband turned the tree backwards! Haha! I have to turn it!

I tried to take a photo of the lights outside..They’re horrible..because of the glare..
Can you tell my husband has an engineering background? It’s hard to tell because it looks messier than it really is..but he lined up the lights instead of twirling them around..and he hung my vintage big colored bulbs upside down!

DH talked me into a small (the stand is tall but the tree is 6 foot including the topper) skinny tree with non-glass and unbreakable ornaments. We'll see if it makes it through the night. It's beginning to look and feel like Christmas. Let's see how the demons handle the temptation though.

I have a Swarovski Snowflake tree I made. My formal lounge isn’t decorated this year, I lost a bit of impetus after spending a week outside putting out the garden fairy lights in 100F weather (yes, summer here in Australia). Then of course since then we’ve had no sun and I’m now 80% solar powered - grr. Still waiting to get a full days sun to recharge them.

So I just finished this tree for my friends in LA. They have a wonderful 1930's house, so a pink Christmas tree in their soft yellow living room looks AWESOME.

Junebug, it looks so festive! Is that a real tree or an artificial? And if it is artificial, where did you get it (link?).

I'm still trying to decide if I want to get an artificial one, but the ones I like are all exorbitant. And my cats like to chew of plastic plants.

Collecting the ornaments is like picking charms for the house and the decorated tree is like a charm bracelet.
