Looking good everyone. Loving all the decorations and fabulous trees.

This thread needs to be called the “Beautiful Thread”. Everyone’s decorations are stunning. Thank you for sharing.

Went with a whimsical theme this year. I used to do multiple trees but last year I decided I’d had enough with the excess and donated a bunch of decor and a couple trees. My daughter is 6.5 and she absolutely loves the tree this year—we’ve never done colored lights or a white tree! So fun!

Beautiful trees! I've always had a foyer tree and a "family/kid" tree!

Thank you! I have a real sentimental kids tree in PA...the one in my basement rec room. I have things that the boys made me at two years old and up..One of my favorites is a white paper plate to make an angel with wings.. made by my son..who is autistic..when he was really little. It has his picture in the center and he put glitter and colored it. It’s extremely fragile because he’s 33 years old now. I wrap it in tissue and it’s the last memory ornmanent to go in the box when I packed it up for next year so it doesn’t get crushed. I also have art the boys made me on there as well as a Santa made out of a cd that my oldest made..I won’t say how old he is! Hahaha..I remember walking the babies around the tree and showing them the ornaments that I still have. Nice memories..Now I can start one with my grandson..

@Mamabean aw that made me cry.. how wonderful some people are. Wish I could do this. Every week I buy 10.00$ food box at Hannaford's and they take it to a needy charity. I also send my little brother and my aunt some money as I have way more than they do. My baby will be here for Christmas (he's 27 ha!) and my BIL, SIL may be able to see us (they come from DC)..Maine is always beautiful at Christmas just in itself. We will be gone to Europe till 12/20 and then back and that is when I will do some decorating and getting a tree! (probably dead but who cares).. we are going to see the Christmas markets in Europe, altho there's a huge drought going on! so it should be an adventure. Wishing everyone a happy, blessed if so believing, full of love HOLIDAY CHRISTMAS Season.. all my best. Merry Christmas!!!

I didn’t have anywhere to post this..but it seems appropriate to do it here. I just read on a community board that a man went into the local Walmart last night and paid off $29,000 in layaways. He remains anonymous..There is good in the world!

I have 2 sons 31 and 27, but when they were 4 and 8 say the older one would have dressed up his little bro like Santa or something, with little bro crying, I think this is a wonderful treat for kids who don't fight. My boys did... but I am soon to be the grandma of a baby girl so we shall see how big bro does with his baby girl, he's never really been around girls except his wife of course, we are an XY family, 8 male cousins 4 female, 5 brothers one sister with my husband.. my son will melt like snow! should be fun to watch.

Ooops always about me.. sorry! Merry Christmas and it's just wonderful to see how we all love the holidays!

What a great idea! I wish I had thought of something like this when my kids were younger. Everything about this picture captures so much of what the Christmas spirit is about, it's so heartwarming!

Never be sorry! I love hearing about everyone and their families! Congratulations on your coming grand baby girl! I want to hear all about it!

My favorite Christmas move by far is the Polar Express, followed by home alone, original Grinch.. I love this time of year!!!

Reminds me of when my sister and I would string popcorn and cranberries for our trees.. of course we fought and we stuck each other with the needles - in addition to sticking ourselves, but I can never remember a happier time with my sister than this.. Miss her, miss those days and love these times.. I'm getting maudlin sorry!
