Interesting. I just now figured out what it is I find so appealing about Obama''s looks. I mean yeah, he''s a nice looking man, but the thing that struck me with that pic and others, is how his smiles always seem to really reach his eyes, you know? Like he really FEELS the smile. I don''t think I''ve personally ever seen a pic or clip of him where he smiled and it didn''t look genuine.... He strikes me as a very centered person, almost Buddhist-like (I know several people raised in the Buddhist tradition and I''ve noticed this quality in them, that''s why I mention it) in his equanimity and how the joy bubbles up kind of quietly from somewhere inside, and his apparent attention to and presence in, the now, the moment. Maybe that sounds corny, but it seems that way to me...

Not corny at all, I know exactly what you mean, and I agree. Finding someone attractive often doesn''t have near as much to do with their physical attributes, as it does with their presence/personality. And that makes Obama very attractive.

Not corny but probably accurate. I''ve said the same thing (Buddhist-like) several times. I discussed it more last night with many of his supporters. I kept saying I''d like to be more like that (actually that''s what we all said lol, so a lot of people do recognize it). That''s a very strong person in my opinion.
