Thanks everyone!!! We had fun, went and ate and then out of nowhere my dad called and met us at a local bar and grill and bought us a round of drinks. Then when we were leaving he made me get in the truck so he could "talk" to my SO. Still no idea what was said beyond "she seems so happy and she''s getting back in shape which is awesome".
