Do you have actual ASET and Idealscope images for these rather than computer simulations? Both GIA graded?

What Lorelei tried to tell you, is that these pics are not of the actual stones.

These are computer-simulations, based upon the average parameters that can be found on the grading report. This presumes a perfect wireframe, which may very well not be the case.

As such, the pics do not offer valuable information about the actual stones.

Live long,

Thanks for the info guys.

No i don''t have an actual ASET, this was what was emailed to me (thinking it was the physical ASET) now i see how its computer generated being perfectally mirrored.

I''m dealing thru an internet diamond dealer here in Australia (diamondexchange), so i''m not too sure if i will actually be able to get a physical copy (jogia wouldn''t supply one) but i have emailed and will soon find out.

Going with what I have so far, are there any concerns (cut, inclusions etc) - is it a start to a fantastic diamond?

One is borderline shallow ( the first), the second borderline steep with the crown and pavilion angles. That is why actual images are so useful to show if there will be any obstruction in the first or leakage in the second. Now these are borderline and could be perfectly fine, images and vendor assessment will tell us that too.

Obstruction is sometimes seen in shallower combo diamonds when they are viewed closely as the observer
s head/ body blocks the light to the diamond. Leakage is where light escapes when the angles are a tight fit. It isn''t necessarily the case that either of these diamonds will have these issues, but it is possible and images will help.

thanks Lorelei,

the F colour diamond is sold, was going for AU$6100, the G colour is AU$5700 still avail, but wont be able to get a physical ASET unless the stone is called in, the G has inclusions under the table but not eye visible.

Looks like i''ll pass on this and continue my search!

thanks again, i''ll post up if i find something hopefully better
