Hey board,

Just got in the ring from the jeweler. In certain light, do you think this is cloudy? The GIA report commented that there a certain clouds that are not shown. Maybe this is the problem? No florescence.

The specs are absolutely perfect. It just seems whitish in certain light / angles (notice -- pic #1 VS #2). Thoughts?

Wow very nice closeups! It doesn't look cloudy to me at all.

It does not look hazy to me. Very pretty. I'm sure she will love it!

I don't see any haziness in any of your photos... but I sure see HAIRINESS!!

That is a beautiful princess stone - the cut is amazing! Beautiful ring - she will be a lucky lady to wear such a gorgeous piece of jewellry!

I think its a gorgeous princess stone! No haziness to me.

The diamond looks very clear to me and the ring is gorgeous ;))

Nope, it looks beautiful!

I don't think it looks cloudy at all. I think it looks gorgeous and very eye-catching! She'll be thrilled, and you did a great job! Congrats on your upcoming engagement, and send her back with lots of hand shots once you've popped the question :)

It's just gorgeous! It's crisp, clean and beautiful - she will be over the moon.

Another vote for gorgeous, without any haziness! It looks really crisp and sparkly to me in the close up shots. If you still feel it looks cloudy, maybe give it a really good clean. Diamonds can be grease magnets.
